ROLE OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and contact prospective customers through calls, email, and other channels.
- Present and promote the company's products or services.
- Build positive, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up on leads and maintain accurate sales records.
- Meet individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare quotations and assist with customer enquiries.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
- Responsible for transporting goods to customers.
- Managing delivery schedules and ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Performing daily vehicle checks and adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/Matric or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous sales or customer-service experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A confident, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the area.
- Flexible working hours are sometimes required.
- Fluent in English and well spoken.
- Valid South African driver’s license (Code 8).
